Took my prime rib to North Carolina from my Florida home for Thanksgiving dinner with oot friends. Simple pepper, salt, garlic rub over mustard. Weather was cold and gloomy but the meal was delicious. Mashed potato and roasted carrot sides. Creme Brulee for desert. Seville Orange Tanqueray Gin with Fever Tree Pink Grapefruit for cocktails. Best dinner ever. Beef was the star.
I’ve only tried one steak so far, which I cut up and use the first meal for a fondue. I wasn’t really that impressed with the flavor of the beef, but the second meal I fried out of the same steak and I thought it was excellent. So maybe it’s a little early for me to tell because. I haven’t really ate enough of it yet.
I already submitted my comments the day after our meal on Sunday. Although I understand the need for FAT but 2+lbs was ridiculous
